About Mancini

Born in 2008, Mancini is the brainchild of British menswear retailer, Jan Dickinson.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Jan made it his mission to create Italian inspired jeans that fit the British man. Following on from success in the UK, he is now introducing the brand to a broader market.

Understanding high end fashion retail, Jan soon realised that many men were unable find their perfect jean; one that offers style, comfort and versatility whilst adapting to the called for sizes for a British man’s waist and legs. As a result, MANCINI was born.

Working with the leading men’s jeans manufacturers in Porto and sourcing the very best stretch denim, Mancini developed cuts that fit bespoke specifications and it’s this care and attention detail that has made Mancini jeans so popular.  Customers have grown to love the brand and to complement the famous jeans the range has been expanded to incorporate designer menswear including polos, t-shirts and knitwear.

Meet Jan

Jan is the man behind Mancini. At the age of 22, he joined the family business retailing designer menswear. Working with brands such as Armani and Versace and specialising in made to measure fashion, he spent time getting to understand what his customers really wanted. Buying in Italy and attending trade shows in Pitti; the world’s largest men’s fashion show, his knowledge and love of denim flourished, eventually leading him to design and develop his Mancini brand.

He may love all things Italian, but Jan was born in North West England and still lives there today. He’s a dad to 2 beautiful boys and has a passion for classic cars. He is an avid follower of the beautiful game and a motorsports enthusiast and has been privileged to have helped some of his sporting heroes pick out their next wardrobe.
